Too much time focusing on\nthe past or thinking about the future, reduces our time to contribute and live\nfor today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have tended to be someone who thinks little of the past, spends too much time planning for the future, and could do much more in the \u201cnow\u201d. As I have gotten older I\u2019ve started to appreciate that planning in both life and work is good, but can often be a great form of procrastination \u2013 always planning -but never really doing most of what gets planned. Another way to state this is \u2013 \u201cA lot of thought and no action\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billcraig.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Time-and-City870x400-e1585352048647.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-72\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As mentioned in the About page of this site \u2013 the site is a\nmechanism for turning ideas into actionable operational initiatives. The reason\nfor this, is based on my need to focus on the now. The initiatives being\ncreated through this site, have been in the planning stages for many years. The\ntime to act on them is now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFocusing on the now\u201d will be a major theme as this site develops.
